Emilie has been working on her top right tooth for at least the last week and a half. Add the fact that she doesn't like photographers anyway to this pesky new tooth continuously moving up and down last Friday and you'll get some very tearful pictures! : ( We wondered if it was ever going to make it's way through! We'd feel the corner and the next time we checked it would be gone. That had to be brutal! : ( Thankfully, the wait is over! Tooth #3 finally broke through today! Too bad it wasn't a little sooner--she might have been able to convince people to give her some candy while she trick or treated tonight! : )

It's official...our baby girl isn't a baby anymore! Not only is she done with all baby food and is only eating table food, she's also COMPLETELY done with bottles! We've been weaning her off during the last 4 weeks, decreasing 1 per week. This week we also cut down the amount she got in her night time bottle until she had her final 2oz of formula Friday night. The fantastic thing is that she hasn't missed them at all!!!
But Daddy does! He already misses all the jars of baby food in the pantry and the bottles and can of formula sitting out on the counter. (Sigh)
Our big girl didn't even seem to notice when she had a sippy cup full of whole milk Saturday morning. If only all new endevors would go this smoothly! : )Comments:Add a comment:
